Effective February 9, 2026
We collect no personal data. No accounts. No cookies. No tracking scripts. No analytics. The site is static HTML served from a CDN.
Affiliate links contain UTM parameters visible in your URL bar. Third-party sites you visit from here have their own privacy policies. That is the full extent of it.
Alternative Health does not require accounts, logins, or any form of registration. We do not collect names, emails, passwords, or payment information.
When you use the tap water lookup tool, you enter a US zip code. Zip codes are not personally identifiable information. We do not log which zip codes are searched or associate searches with any visitor.
Our hosting provider (Vercel) may collect standard server logs including IP addresses, browser user-agent strings, and page URLs. These are retained by Vercel under their privacy policy and are not accessed by us for tracking or profiling purposes.
We do not set first-party cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party tracking scripts.
Vercel may set functional cookies required for CDN operation and security. These are not used for advertising or behavioral profiling.
If we add analytics in the future, this policy will be updated before any tracking is deployed. We will use privacy-respecting, cookieless analytics only.
External product links on this platform may contain UTM parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign) and affiliate identifiers. These parameters are appended to the URL you visit and are visible in your browser address bar.
When you click an affiliate link, the destination website may set its own cookies and track your visit according to its own privacy policy. We have no control over third-party tracking.
We do not receive personally identifiable information from affiliate partners. We may receive aggregate data such as click counts and conversion counts.
Vercel (hosting and CDN): processes requests and may log server-level data. See vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
GitHub (community discussions and issue tracking): if you participate in GitHub Discussions or file issues, GitHub's privacy policy applies to that activity.
PubMed / NIH (research links): clicking external study links takes you to government websites governed by their own privacy policies.
We do not embed social media widgets, advertising networks, or any third-party scripts that track visitors across sites.
We do not collect or store health information, medical history, dietary preferences, or any personal health data.
We do not build user profiles, behavioral graphs, or interest categories.
We do not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties for advertising purposes.
We do not use fingerprinting, canvas tracking, or any covert identification techniques.
This platform is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. Since we collect no personal information from any visitor, there is no mechanism through which children's data could be captured.
This is a static website. There is no database, no user data store, and no backend API that processes personal information. The site is served as pre-rendered HTML from Vercel's global CDN.
All connections are encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. There is no unencrypted HTTP access.
If we change this privacy policy, the updated version will be published at this URL with a new effective date. Since we have no way to contact visitors (we don't collect emails), checking this page is the only way to see updates.
Material changes, such as introducing analytics or user accounts, will be announced on the homepage and in GitHub Discussions before taking effect.
Questions or concerns about this privacy policy can be raised via GitHub Issues at github.com/christiancattaneo/alternativehealth/issues.
